It is a truth universally acknowledged that no matter where he shows up, Thomas (“Tommy”) Connors is fully equipped to do battle. When Tommy takes on a case, his clients reap the benefit of his considerable knowledge, intense personal investment, as well as his ready sense of humor.

Before attending law school, Tommy successfully competed the Air Assault Course—“the hardest 10 days in the Army”—and became member of the 101st Airborne. He spent years enduring physical and mental challenges that naturally come with serving in the military. Tommy served his country proudly in Iraq during some of the most difficult times of the War on Terror.  After the Army, Tommy attended Pittsburg State University and spent a short stint as a high school history and government teacher. During that time he helped coach cross country and long distance running for track and field.

Through his life experiences, Tommy developed two rare gifts. The first is the understanding that all people, no matter where they are from and what they do for a living, are searching for happiness. And the second is Tommy’s humility in helping them achieve that goal. Just before his first trial, Tommy was terrified of not getting a good result. He went against a seasoned litigator in a very difficult case . . . and he won.

There is not better ally in a difficult fight than Tommy Connors. As a partner at S.C. Titus, Tommy believes deeply in the mission statement of the firm. He brings a passion to everything that he does that is simply infectious to be around. No matter the challenge, you will always find Tommy slogging through it with a confidence that cannot be taught.

Tommy and his beautiful little girl live in Lawrence, Kansas. He spends his time outside of work with his little girl and friends, never being known to pass up a good karaoke session. Tommy is a horrible golfer, but swings with Happy-Gilmore-style aggression that is awesome to watch. Standing an offish 6’6”, Tommy does excel at basketball. You will find him outside of work in Allen Field House, watching the Jayhawks “win the Big XII . . . again.” Tommy enjoys giving his friends a hard time when their teams meet during college basketball season, especially when his Jayhawks meet Rob’s Longhorns and Chris’s Wildcats. He knows they don’t stand a chance and it brings him the utmost joy.
